Dear All,
It is that time of year – when schools are starting and some children are in need of supplies so they can do their best. This will be the 9th year that I have partnered with Eagle Creek Park as a drop off location for supplies. The need continues to grow and the 8 schools that I continue to give these supplies to are very appreciative of the supplies we get to them. Please look at the attached flyer for information about taking supplies to the Earth Discovery Center in the park as well as a list of supplies needed. Please remember that all supplies must be new. Watch which stores have the best sales and prices and be generous with your donations. These supplies are given directly to the staff at schools and they determine which students are in the most need.
For those of you who live in Pike Township – you may also bring your supplies to the next PTRA (Pike Township Residence Association) on Wednesday, August 14th, at 7:00 p.m. at the Pike Township Government Center, 5665 Lafayette Road. You do not have to stay for the entire meeting.

Back to School Supply Drive
It is hard to imagine, but schools are starting and we need to get going on our “Back to School Supplies Drive”. The need for school supplies continues to grow and is there throughout the year. This will be our: 9th Annual – BACK TO SCHOOL SUPPLY DRIVE.
Below are the details. Please note the location and the times you may drop off items, as they are different this year from last. All supplies must be new items. We will collect starting now through August 26th.
Eagle Creek Park School Supply Drop off Site:
Earth Discovery Center – inside the park – open Mon. – Sat. 10 a.m. – 5 p.m., Sun. 1 – 5.
Supplies Needed:
Boxes of crayons (24 or less)
Pencils
Glue and glue sticks
Pens
Folders
Notebooks
Scissors
Highlighters
Markers (fine and thick)
Colored Pencils
