IMPD held their annual Bike Rally at the Blended Church on Country Club Road.  This is the second year for this location, and the weather cooperated for this terrific event.  Officer Tim Blackwell is starting a group of bike riders through an “obstacle course” of cones.  A Wayne Township Firetruck is in the background.  The children were also able to explore it and talk with the firefighters.

 

Everyone had a wonderful time.  And while having a lot  of fun, the boys and girls learned about bicycle safety, got to meet and talk with police officers and firefighters, and had a great educational experience.

McGruff was on hand as well and he stood still for a picture with Councillor Janice McHenry and Sgt. Matt Grimes.

Even the horse patrol was there.  What an inquiring look from the horse!
