Dear All,
With the recent happenings in Texas and Ohio I thought it would be a good idea to have IMPD come out to our district and present the C.R.A.S.E. (Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events) presentation again. Some of you may have attended this when they did it for us at my December, 2017 Town Hall Meeting. This is an informal presentation to prepare civilians in the event of an attack and response options until the police arrive on the scene. IMPD Northwest District’s Tim Blackwell and Madeline Green will be presenting the program. I have seen it several times now and find that I get more out of it each time I attend one. I hope you will join me and others from our area to learn more about how to react if ever in one of these horrible situations.

Please note that IMPD would like to have an idea of how many will be attending and on their flyer have asked to RSVP to Officer Green at madeline.green@indy.gov. I know it would be appreciated if you would do this. I do hope you will forward this to others who may be interested in attending and may not be on my email list.
